Julie Brearley

Julie has been the Team Leader at The Well since 2018.

She is qualified in Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Reflexology, Facials, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Acupressure seated massage, Auricular ear Seeding, Pregnancy Massage and Paraffin Wax therapy.

She is also a facilitator on the HOPE Course

Ruth Thompson

Ruth has worked at The Well since March 2021 to provide evidence based acupuncture to Cancer patients

Her background in Occupational Health Nursing with an interest in wellbeing lead her to complete a Medical Acupuncture Diploma in 2009.

This enabled her to treat employees in the workplace to improve their recurring health issues.

Ruth went on to qualify in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 2016 and has worked as an Acupuncturist in various wellbeing and clinical locations.

Julie Kimberley

Julie’s qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Education and Training ( 2013), Certificate in Education (2010) and a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (1992).

Julie has worked at The Well from 2011 providing Beauty, Complementary therapies and Colour Analysis. Since 2014 she has been providing a Ward In-patient service at Barnsley Hospital offering therapies one afternoon each week.

Julie worked as a Volunteer Complementary Therapist at Barnsley Hospice from 2008 to 2017 providing therapies to patients, she gained much experience whilst studying for her teaching qualification and degree and has delivering Informal Teaching sessions in The Limes Day Therapy Unit for patients and carers.

Tina Clegg

Tina joined The Well in January 2023 to deliver Acupuncture. Tina has recently become an NHS employee in our team and brings additional therapies of IHM, Facial, Hot stones, Massage and Paraffin Wax

She qualified in Acupuncture 2018 having studied at the Shulan College of Chinese Medicine, with a clinical placement with Dr Mei Xing of AcuHealth.

She worked privately part time at Salford Chiropractic Clinic until Covid, and she now has her own practice in Barnsley and Altrincham, she is also qualified in massage, On-site chair massage, facial rejuvenation, and a trained phlebotomist.

Anne Ball

Anne joined our team at The Well in 2020.

She is qualified in Reflexology, Reiki, Massage, Facial face lift, Auricular Ear Seeds, Pregnancy Massage and Paraffin Wax therapy.

Cheryl Sanderson

Cheryl has been part of The Well team for many years.

She originally delivered therapies and hypnosis but went on the run a coffee group at The Well and community projects for cancer patient. She runs a coffee/art group at Barnsley ASDA and We can survive singers

She has recently re-joined us a therapist and delivers, Reiki, Massage, Indian Head Massage and Facials
