Lucy is a qualified massage and beauty therapist and has worked at The Well since 2011.
She offers a variety of beauty treatments including facials, manicures and pedicures as well as relaxation through forms of massage such as Swedish and hot stones.
Lucy also treats patients suffering with chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy and hand and foot syndrome using paraffin wax to reduce the severity of this side effect
Julie’s qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Education and Training ( 2013), Certificate in Education (2010) and a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (1992).
Debbie is a qualified and experience acupuncturist and member of the British Acupuncture Council, having completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Acupuncture. Over the last decade she has gained internationally recognised qualifications in Complementary Therapies.
Debbie has been working at The Well since January 2014 where she provides Acupuncture as a service for cancer patients.
Since her own diagnosis of Follicular Lymphoma in 2012, Debbie has a unique perspective on the care of patients within a clinical setting.
In 2018 Debbie undertook training with Macmillan Cancer Care, to enable her to provide support via the Macmillan HOPE programme (Helping Overcome Problems Effectively) something Debbie believes in a great deal.
Karen qualified as a Shiatsu Practitioner in 2005 having completed a 3 year Diploma at the Northern School of Shiatsu.
In her 3rd year of training she completed a year volunteering at Barnsley Hospice treating cancer patients and their carers.
A registered practitioner with the Shiatsu Society having completed her MRSS in 2010, Karen has been running her own private practice since 2006 and therefore has been practicing for 12 years.
Karen has worked at the Well as a Complementary Therapist since April 2014.
Since qualifying in Shiatsu she has also qualified in Indian Head Massage and level 1 and 2 Reiki and is a registered member of the CTHA Complementary Therapy Association and the Federation of Holistic Therapies.
